Riga

Riga, the capital of Latvia, is a beautiful city with a UNESCO World Heritage site, several tourist spots, and monuments. Minutes away from the seaport, Old Town of Riga is a perfect place to spend a day or a week. Museums, numerous churches and historical traditional European buildings make it a perfect place for tourist interested in history while a scenic park, Town Square, paved streets, restaurants and outdoor cafes are ideal for walking and relaxation. Let us see some parts of the city.

A view of the city from the port:

You travel to amazing places. I feel that European architecture looks quite similar across countries with a town square, Gothic buildings and paved streets.

Great pictures Amrit. Lativia is so beautiful, the colors sea green, rust, blue stand out against the clear sky. It definitely looks like any European country where Indians can visit just to laze around in a leisurely manner. What fun you must have had there. We all envy you.

A, Thanks for introducing City Riga, I heard it for the first time. Beautiful city and Wonderful pictures..I kept scrolling up and down to view them several times. All pictures present nice bright color contrast..buildings have unique construction pattern and they are painted with nice colors...also buildings built in stone are amazing.
Is there any kind of touch up done for the first picture? These pictures are definitely different from all previous pictures.
Thanks for the virtual tour of this beautiful city Riga.
