Remembering Martin Luther King

I don’t see color

I don’t see race

I don’t see religion

I don’t see gender

I see a man

I see a human

I have a thought

I have an idea

I have a vision

I have a dream

Dear Readers:- As you know I am not a poet but it seemed like a good dedication to Martin Luther King.

What you have written is definitely not text, its a poem! :) We are able to understand the synthesis of his life through the minimum words in your poem. Good job.

Hats off to Poet @A! Excellent lines as always!

But didn't MLK fight for his own race? Would he have done the same if things were other way round? That would make one a true hero - what do you say?

Amrit said...

Thank you Anjuli.

Amrit said...

Haha. Thanks SM

Amrit said...

May be he would have. May be not. To your point, majority was from the 'other' race who agreed to him and supported....so we should salute American people too.
