Where did I take this picture?

Rays of light peeped through the window. Sunrise never looked more beautiful with sky embracing vivid colors. My eyes were suddenly wide open. My heart cheered up looking at the splendor of Mother Nature though I did not hear any birds chirping. Brighten up smile replaced boredom without any artificial stimulant. A tiny crammed place suddenly became enjoyable.

Manually focused the lens and clicked the shutter of the camera looking down.

Can you guess where and how I captured this picture?

  21. I'm late- and everyone has answered the question with the answer I wanted to give, "In flight- probably near Paris???"....and I will have to echo what some others said- "Brilliant shot"...I only wish I had the knack of taking great pics- normally I forget my camera OR end up shaking it when I attempt a great shot. SO GOOD JOB!

  22. Dear All,

Yes. You are right. It is a picture I took from a flight.

I took this picture on 24th Dec 2010 morning around 6:30AM in the morning on my way to California for vacation. It was still pretty dark outside as you can see in the picture. On plane's window, I looked for clean spot, used manual focus and manual settings and finally managed to get just one (out of three) shot right. If you enlarge the picture, you will notice picture is not really very sharp. The reason is plane window and also I had to use ISO3200 to get the shot in low light conditions.
